The LORD is in His holy temple.

The call of God does not equal a leap of faith, but a LIFE of faith compelled by love to sacrifice and suffer.
Because Jesus did not suffer and die so that we might build for ourselves havens, but so that we might EXPAND the Kingdom of His love.
Because invisible kingdoms are at war for the hearts and lives of every human being who walks on the face of this earth.
And times of war require barbarians who are willing to risk life itself for the freedom of others. - The Barbarian Way

When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do? The LORD is in His Holy Temple; the LORD is on His heavenly throne. Psalm 11:3-4

King David answers his own question by stating - declaring -the specific, intimate promise of the Lord. He is IN His temple...WE are the temple!
The Spirit of the Living God indwelt in me is more than enough; He makes me more than a CONQUEROR because of Christ's immeasurable, all-consuming love.
God is not shaken by my distress, not surprised by my inadequacies or failures or fears.
He is on His throne, the Sovereign King, and He is IN His holy temple.

Thank You, LORD, that Your love NEVER fails. Thank You that the train of Your robe FILLS the temple of my heart. Thank You for the Living Word that is life-giving and reaffirming always. Thank You that we can depend on Your promises. I will be still and know You are God.

But the LORD is in His Holy Temple; let all the earth fall silent before Him. Hab 2:20

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. 1 Cor 6:19

For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people." 2 Cor 6:16
